To Advocate could mean the difference between giving a child a future or simply doing nothing. That is why we at Reach Orphans Worldwide are determined to educate others of the extreme importance of being an advocate for these children. Challenging, Yes. Worth it, Yes.

Turning the tide of change is often the hardest. However, as an advocate for children, it is our responsibility to make leaders, officials and the public aware of this worldwide problem, while at the same providing them solutions. These solutions are pivotal. We understand that not everyone can adopt. However, we are confident that everyone can do something. We speak at churches, create fundraisers, advertise with local businesses and utilize social media as it all brings us that much closer to changing lives. By continuing to build international and domestic relationships with leaders and officials a teamwork approach is created resulting in a greater movement.

However, those shelves hold binders that contain hundreds of names of children who are waiting to be adopted or children who are stuck in an orphanage until they "age out" of the system. Imagine for a moment . . . this is only one bookcase, in one office, in one country. How many more binders are out there? Many never get opened and many children never even make it into a binder. Scary thought, but that is the reality.
